Parkinson Wires Warrensburg

Warrensburg, MO(April 26, 2014)-Fresh off a win at Humboldt Speedway on Friday night, Chris Parkinson made it two in a row with a win at Central Missouri Speedway on Saturday night with the WAR Series presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps.
Parkinson started the A-Main from the pole and immediately jumped into the lead as he was followed by Bob Thoman and Devon Huff.
Parkinson showed his dominance as lap by lap, he extended his lead over Thoman and Huff.  Early on, the best battle was for fourth among a large group of cars including Steven Cross, Josh Stephens, J.D. Black, Dylan Kadous, and Chad Goff.
On lap fifteen with Parkinson out front, Huff was able to move by Thoman for second.  Kadous, Black, Goff, and Stephens were able to get by Cross and the group continued the battle for position.
As the laps wound down and with Parkinson in lapped traffic, Huff was able to make up significant ground.
As Parkinson took the white flag, Huff was able to make a charge and would get within a few car lengths as Parkinson took the checkered flag in his 54th Street Grill and Bar/Ozarks Barge and Dock Service DRC with Parkinson power.  Huff ran a strong second in his Lawrence Photo Chevy-powered Twister.
Thoman came home a solid third in his Cars Plus Credit/Noggin Brothers Car Care DRC with Chevy power.  Kadous came home fourth with Goff rounding out the top five.  Stephens was sixth as he was followed by Black and Cross.  P.J. Grimes and John Helm rounded out the top ten.
The WAR Series presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps will next be in action on Saturday May 3rd at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO.  This will be a special race paying $1000 to win.
