Williams Grove running this Friday is a dicey proposition. 47 degrees and 80 percent chance of rain. 80 percent chance at night as well. Saturday should be good for Port and Lincoln.

WG has the biggest races and most WOO races but IMO the 3 Saturday tracks aren't far behind. In fact I think the racing is usally better at Lincoln(by far) and also at Port Royal and Selinsgrove. WG used to have all the top dog teams but now that there aren't as many big budget teams and a lot more teams that focus on 1 track weekly, I think it's evened out. The Grove is still the place to be on Friday nights but to me it's lost some of it's luster. I've scaled back from just about every week to about 8-12 times per year. Back in the 90's/early00's they had around 30 410's and 40+ 358's every week and everybody who was anybody was there. That's not the case anymore.

WG  at one time  had  excellence  in racing programs or promotion , but no more  with the new team intact , its  fell  for various reasons , but holds  its historical tradition .The only  thing now WG  is  known for is the   WoO promotions  that brings  together  our best and  their"s  ,along with the purses  for our local guys .

Correct, the Grove has been living off of it's reputation for some time now...

As stated previously, they need to scrap their current format and adopt the weekly WoO format starting immediately...

Opinions may vary...
