I'm shocked to see Lance choose Lincoln over Port...I know the 14 has traditionally been a Lincoln car however, I thought that Lance prefered Port over Lincoln... :/
Opinions may vary...

I think Dietz Motorsports is pretty specific about its wishes and what they are looking for in a driver. Sponsorship also dictates where a team goes. It's a Lincoln car, and I expect one that will also hit time trial shows.

I don't understand this statment you made in your article. " Brent Marks might not be a favorite with other drivers in the pit area," He sems like a Nice guy,and clean racer to me. I have never really seen him intentionually wreck anyone, nor have I ever heard another driver bad mouth him.

Lance was saying in an interview at Lawerance Chevy. They will be racing Williams Grove weekly. On Satruday nights They will split races between both tracks some at Port some At Lincoln. They have no schedule or # of races set in stone. It's a race to race, week to week, month to month schedule. Depending on how they run. It could be more races or less. He said so far the deal kind of reminds him of the Dyer days chemistry wise.

LD did win a track championship in the 77 I do believe. Yes he generally prefers Port but he didn't run all that well there last year.

For the record, I think Brent is a nice guy. I don't know him personally, but I always thought he was a pleasure to talk to and was always professional. I think it is the older, seasoned guys that had or have an issue.
