unfortunately sponsorship has fallen threw for Bill to run the full world of outlaw tour. Soild2O and Geltech have done there part with funding the team but the middle man incharge of getting the sponsor for rose has not done his part in getting them all the money to continue on the rest of the tour. The team is not going to continue on to vegas or out west the team is going to take some time and try and figure out somthing to do some more racing in 2014.

Sorry to hear that guys. Come join the All Star tour perhaps? As a fan, I'd support you guys as much as I could this season! Best of luck whatever you decide!

Too bad. Bill is the epitomy of what an "outlaw" is. He does it his own way and has beat the odds the last couple of years by doing it without any major financial backing (other than his own pockets).
I'm sure the local speedways in Indiana, Ohio and Western PA would be more than happy to see you pull through the pitgate.
As a fan in Iowa, I'd love to see you at Knoxville more than once a year too (I think running there weekly would actually help you out too, it did for Dion Hindi and others after they dropped off the tour).

Couldn't agree more with what you said. I saw Bill race last year at Cottage Grove. It was just him, no one else. Wish I had cash on me so I could of bought a shirt or something. If I was any kind of a mechanic I would have asked if he needed someone to ride shotgun with him to Chico.

www.indiegogo.com -- crowdfunding website ask Bill Rose Racing to open an acct. and thats how you could donate.
i support us fans 100% supporting the racers that put on a show and make all the risk so we have something to talk about during the week.
i have seen this work many times in music, bands get dropped by their label and make a "go fund me" or "crowd funding" site to have their fans donate to make a new record and they set a goal and more times than not its exceeded.
but before we get any further..
isn't this exact same thing what this board just (within past 3 months) chastised the Schuchart/Allen family for, to the point that the fund was taken down and they deleted their post off the thread that just kept growing. http://www.hoseheadforums.com/forum.cfm?pageNum_qGetThread=1&ThreadID=83923
then when Ballou did it as well for a few tires for the western swing? (two years ago) then his personal life got involved for his wife getting a free trip to disneyworld. http://www.hoseheadforums.com/forum.cfm?pageNum_qGetThread=1&ThreadID=72024
so when is it okay to support a "low-buck" racer? (no offense to the 4 named in my post) all of these cars are from people who are trying to race as much as they can with the funds they can provide. they all travel minimally with little to no crfew help at all. i would love to see us help out racers as much as we can, but it seems hypocritical to support one while bashing the others.

Its not the same at all, Shark racing ask for the money. Bill Rose was ready to give up cause he didnt have the money. He didnt ask for money or pity. I donated to the shark racing team a picture that BBR junkie gave $ 100 for . Shark racing got my picture and BBRs money but curiously I dont think BBR has recieved his picture from Shark racing. I sent it to them with the money to ship it , not sure what happend there. I feel like i got burnt on this but im still willing to donate to Bill Rose Racing. Before u posse faithful get ur warpaint on and ur panties in a gunch remember i didnt start this thread. I could have easily started a thread dedicated to this , but i didnt. I was being patient but im done with that.

I am a posse faithful and in no way would I have helped the shark team. If they thought they had the funds to travel with the outlaws, then they shouldnt have to be asking for money from people around the country. Especially after one of their members had told people that TSR was helping them out on their journey. JMO and I know ill get bashed for it but whatever. Bill Rose isnt asking for people to help him, the kind fans of the sport are taking that into their own hands, thats completely different. Personally I think he should find himself a local track and call it a career because if I am correct, hes a regular blue collar man. Again just my opinion and I know ill get trashed for it.

Bill ran wingless for a while then got into wings & then decided to go big time here within the last couple of years. I talked to him at the Mopar Million & he's really a cool dude, he also had a second car for Rickie Gaunt. I'm sure someone could fill in more about Bill's career.

Probably just in case, to run a few shows. I cant understand why he would commit to running IRA full time. That wouldnt make a whole lot of sense (but would be awesome for the Wisconsin crowd) for him to put himself in a box like that, for the whole season.

Well if he housed his rig and car at one of the fellow drivers shop he wouldn't have to continuously travel all the way home with the rig and he could be one of the top drivers of the series

that would be great if Bill runs with the IRA, they offer a pretty lucrative overall points payout and give away a ton of stuff at the banquet, so I can see that he might want to stick with them for a season. as stated above, add in the possibility of parking the rig up here for certain periods of time, while there are back-to-back shows weekly, and it makes sense. opener is this weekend at beaver dam, so we will see who shows up!

According to IRA rules a driver that has run less than 8 shows with IRA is eligible for rookie of the year honors. Although I don't know if Bill Rose would qualify due to his experience in a sprint car. On the other hand, Jeremy Schultz ran more than 8 shows with IRA and was still eligible for ROTY last year... so who knows. I hope Bill Rose comes and runs. I think he would have a great deal of success with the IRA.
Real race cars don't have fenders...
