BOSS Adds 2 Events and Inks Heat Race Sponsor

The Buckeye Machine BOSS sprint car series has filled two dates on the 2014 schedule.  In addition, the first confirmed 2014 primary heat race sponsor was signed just days ago.  The new schedule will be finalized in a matter of days.

On Friday, May 23rd the wingless warriors of BOSS will make history by attacking the 7/16 mile semi banks of Raceway 7 in Conneaut, Ohio.  This will be the first ever traditional sprint car event at the 5,000 seat facility which was built in 1970 and currently promoted by Dan McDonald.  The addition of this date forms a doubleheader weekend for competitors as the series will move south and across the border for a return visit to the beautiful Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania the next night.

Another new addition to the schedule is Saturday, July 5th when the series will visit America's Motorsports Park in Clearfield, Pennsylvania.   This 1/4 mile dirt oval was reopened in 2013 by sprint car racer Jeff Taylor from New Jersey.  This addition also forms a BOSS doubleheader as the tour will find itself at historic Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania the night before for a 4th of July Spectacular.

In other BOSS news, the series is proud to announce Burdette Builders of Sunman, Indiana is the first primary sponsor to sign on for 2014.  Burdette Builders will be sponsoring a heat race event at every stop along the trail.  Heat race events pay cash money to the top 4 finishers in the amount of $40, $30, $20, and $10.  More sponsors will be announced in the coming weeks to cover the many BOSS heat race and bonus award payouts.

Don't forget, the 2014 tour will kick off at Fremont Speedway on Saturday, May 3rd with the 2nd Annual Mike Hensel Memorial paying a whopping $5,000 to win.  Drivers will be fighting for a new points fund that will pay over $15,000 in cash and prizes to the top 15 in points courtesy of the new title sponsor, Buckeye Machine of Forest, Ohio.  You can also see the series in action at Wayne County (OH) Speedway, Waynesfield (OH) Raceway Park, Lawrenceburg (IN) Speedway, Montpelier (IN) Speedway, Pittsburgh (PA) Motor Speedway, and Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio where the series will crown its champion once again as part of the Eldora Sprintacular to close the season on wingless sprint car racing in the Buckeye state.

For more information on the series, please visit our website at www.buckeyesprints.com or phone 740-703-3768.  Many marketing opportunities still exist with the fastest growing sprint car series in the Midwest .  Watch for more new sponsor announcements in the coming weeks.
