I attended my first wing and nonwing show last yr at the Jesse Hocket memorial. Im goin to try to make it to as many of these as possible this yr. Besides for the Hockett race I see there is a MOWA and nonwing show at Haubstadt in June. Any other races in the midwest like this that you know about? Thanks in advance.

In oct at Pontoon beach the Gold crown nationals had about 50 midgets and the MOWA series on the same night. What a great show.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

The WAR series that was part of the Jesse Hocket Memorial have had several co-sanction races in the past. There schedule is currently up on thier web sites. It does not mention if it is a co sanction race, but I know the three dates at Lucas Oil are. The one in May in a POWRi midget, WAR, and ASCS sanction. The other race at Lucas is the Jesse Hocket memorial. If you research the dates with the different tracks, you may find other co sanctioned shows.

A handful of our MOWA shows this year will also include non-wing sprints. As you stated, our Haubstadt date on June 21 is with the MSCS non-wing sprints. I think our show the night before in Bloomington, In (June 20) will feature their local non-wing show as well. Then on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, May 25 we will be joined by Missouri's non-wing WAR series, which was mentioned above.
We will also be running several shows with POWRi midgets and/or USAC midgets.
Our opener April 4 at Lincoln Illinois with POWRi
Friday Sept 12 at Jacksonville with POWRi
Saturday Sept 13 at Spoon River with POWRi
Friday and Saturday of the Gold Crown Midget Nationals (Oct 3 and 4) with USAC midgets
Friday Oct. 10 at Lincoln Illinois with POWRi
Saturday Oct 11 at Quincy with POWRi.
So basically 10 of our 26 race schedule will include either non-wing sprints or midgets on the same card as our MOWA Sprint Car Series presented by Casey's General Stores.

Fremont Speedway has the Mike Hensel Memorial that runs BOSS non wing sprints and 305 winged sprints. Last year it was run on May 4.

Eldora had the Sprintacular last October.
Next to attending the Mopar Million years ago there, the Sprintacular was one of my most-favorite shows ever, non-wing BOSS, All Stars, and winged 360s - great show!
The preceding night, Waynesfield Ohio had winged 360 and BOSS nonwing.
What a great weekend!

Waynesfield speedway has the Jack Hewitt classic each year around August along with weekly non-wing racing. You also have the BOSS non wing guys traveling throughout Ohio and Western PA. Its a great series with an open rule book. Eldora has 4 crown along with the sprintacular late in the year with the BOSS guys as well.
