Was posted about a half hour ago on the Kasey Kahne Racing Facebook page. I would have copied and pasted the post but ever since this sight got revamped I'm not allowed to copy and paste anymore.

"Facebook Official". I have accepted the position of Car Chief on the Kasey Kahne Racing #49 driven by Brad Sweet which will follow the entire 2014 WoO Sprint Car Tour. I have to give a huge shoutout to Brian C...arber and Michael Carber for getting me in contact with this first class company. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am going to do the best that I can do to make a name for myself in the sprint car racing world. This is my dream job and to be matched up with such a successful first class operation that is second to none, I couldn't be happier. I have to give special thanks to my parents, Ed Aikin, Scott McClaren, Chuck Yeoman, Jonathan Horn, Geezer Fanelli. These fine men have all taught me something I will take with me on the road and I am very appreciative of them. I will be moving to Moorseville, NC and starting my job down there hopefully before Christmas to try and get a jump on 2014. Thank you to all my family, friends, and racing buddies for all of your support through the years while I worked hard and passionately in the sport I love. I will be traveling all across the country visiting many tracks for the first time and logging thousands of miles on the road. Thank you to all and please follow me on here, my twitter page, and my Instagram. Please keep in touch and I will hopefully see you all soon! WISH ME LUCK!See More

Yeah, I meant copy and paste the facebook post. I'm not sure why alot of the things I used to do like copy and paste, post a clickable link and embed video I just can't anymore. When I right click on the msg. area to paste it it just darkens the whole page and can't do anything more and I end up just reversing to the previous page and lose what I've already typed. I'm not sure if they enhanced the controls for the chrome browser and it made it so the firefox users lost there capabilities or what? I honestly never had issues with any of this before.

He has 2 WoO wins. 10 Top 5's finishes in 2013 and 5 Top 5's in 2012. I'm not saying he's gonna win the points championship next year but from what I've seen of him in the past I think his #s should be solid.

Brad Sweet is a bad ass racer... wheel to wheel to lap Sammy at the Royal.. that kid earned his card that night
"It took over three thousand bolts to put this here
school bus together, but it only takes one nut to
scatter them all over the highway."

Brad Sweet is an awesome racer, ive been a fan of him since the days he was in a multi. I remember there was a race at Benton, MO with multi's, midgets, and sprint cars, he was there in his multi and won that night, im pretty sure he smoked the field. I'm happy as hell he will be racing full time with the woo in 2014. He's a bad ass dirt racer and need to stick to dirt!

Kinser, Swinndel,Schatz,Pittman,TK all had 1 career outlaw win at some point in their careers. Looks at the equipment that Sweet has plus he does not have near the seat time that some people have on the outlaw circuit in a 410 winged sprintcar. Last year he could have potentially swept all the races at Eldora but mechanical issues prevented that. Watch out for him on all of the high banked tracks as he can put it right on the edge.

Does this mean he won't be running any stock cars in 2014'?

He dislikes all drivers from what I've seen. Most of the time his posts are deleted. He recently was talking crap about Jac and Kinser too. He doesn't seem like much of a dirtlover since he dislikes everyone in the sport, maybe he's a farmer and his name means he actually loves dirt, I don't know how some people can be so negative about everything.

I think it's a combination of a few things. Whatever they are, it's good to see more guys like Brad behind the wheel of a 410. One thing is for sure, he always races clean and is usually pretty damn fast. He'll be noticed in 2014.
