I think by now we all know the contraversial comments he's made. He's also taken alot of scrutiny for it over twitter rightfully so. I personalyy don't have an account or I certainly would have have. Here's to hoping that racefans all over keep this going. I know this a sprint car forum, but this is a direct insult to anyone involved in motorsports would'nt you think? For all that have twitter accounts, keep this going. Don't let this thug off the hook. His only response on twitter was too look up the meaning of the word. How about slinging a 410 around the high banks of Eldora at 140 mph. Or a dirt Modified at Dodge City, How bout broad sliding through a turn at Terre Haute. How about 500 laps around Bristol or Darlington. How about an Indy car going well over 200 mph at a track like Texas. I bet you never felt those G-forces on little playground. Or how about a top fuel dragster going well over 300 in a quarter mile. This guy has the gull to talk the word "athlete" when I'm not soo sure he knows what it means. Playing a game with a bunch of overweight 400 Blobs to block for you. Your an athlete because you can block? Your 400 LBS for christ sake you should be able to block a truck. How bout laying off the Mcdonalds for a while. While the blobs block for you you either throw the ball or hand it to someone else. I beg anyone to give me an example of anything LESS athletic than that. Here's an idea punk........Get a clue, your playing a game. Playing on your little playground while these GLADIATORS risk their lives. Hey McNabb, why don't you ask Charlie Dean Leffler if his Daddy was an athlete you peice of @#%^&*&*&! Get a clue Don. Take it easy

Mcnabb and NASCAR.... the perfect pair.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Jimmy Johnson should invite him to run the Boston Marathon with him next year.

Most people don't understand the physical and mental stress that's present inside a race car, not to mention the hand-eye coordination required to keep the car straight.

Donavan Mcnabb is the ultimate douchebag (an arrogant or obnoxious person).

The non-race-fan masses don't think the drivers are athletes and look down their noses at racing.  Don't let it bother you.  wink

Some day when he's smoking crack in a stolen car and tries to ditch the cops he will understand.

I'm glad I spent my time in a race car garage getting ready for the weekend to race than spending my time in a gym with a blow hole of the likes of Donavan McNabb.  Don't fall for the mainstream media just pay no attention to McNabb and has beens like him.

McNabb already lost my respect when he presented himself as one of the biggest racists in the NFL.  If Richie Incognito can be suspended for racially charged statements that come out of his mouth, then Donovan should have been suspended for half of his career.  Anything that comes out of that turd's mouth is irrelevant to me.  (and no I am not a Giants, Cowboys or Redskins fan)   Donovan McNabb slamming Jimmie?  It would make more sense if Donovan slammed Kyle Petty.  Then at least he would be comparing himself to someone else who was never really any good at his sport.  Your comments mean as much to me as those that come from Trent Dilfer.

This is what I posted on Facebook yesterday:

You know, in the past I've thought a lot about this, because it always seems to be brought up by someone. Racing a car is NOTHING like driving a car down the highway. In most cases, the power that a race car provides is MUCH more than is available on the street. Add to that the g-forces in a car, and the fact that there are several cars around you that you have to keep track of, along with hitting... the right lines every corner, you need great hand-eye coordination, arm strength, your back and neck can take a nice workout, and you more often than not use the seat of your pants to get the feeling of what your car is doing. You need to use your legs and feet at the right moments to get around the track in the fastest amount of time. You also have to take evasive maneuvers more often than not because you never know what the guy ahead or beside you will do. I've been involved in Football, basketball, wrestling, soccer, and baseball, and BMX racing, along with doing some bowling and golf at some point. They all take different sets of ability to do well.

My main concern is why hasn't this crumb been fired yet? It is just as much Fox Sports's fault for alowing this s&*t to go on. Maybe hire someone like Rush Limbaugh who isn't a racist Pig, an educated man who has probably forgotten more than Don will ever know. About many things, not just sports.

I love how the racing community gets all excited anytime someone spouts off about the athleticism of a driver.

It's not athleticism that makes a driver great, it's hand/eye coordination, courage, usually a good understanding of the mechanics of a car, and all the other variables we don't understand.

Who cares what Donovan McNabb thinks?

McNabb has a net worth of $35 Million (hardly chump change) according to some site on the internet which because it's on the internet means it's right, lol.  6 time Pro-Bowl player with over 3,000 career pass completions and he completed twice as many TD passes as interceptions (234 - 117).  Pretty decent player who won Philly a whole bunch of games and did it without playing behind any 400 pound lineman, lol.  I have no idea what he said nor do I care, life goes on.....
