PERRIS, CA – NOVEMBER 4, 2013... Taking the lead from the outside of the front row, Nic Faas of Huntington Beach, California lead all 30 laps to win Saturday’s preliminary of the “18th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals” presented by All Coast Construction. Co-sanctioned with the USAC National Series, the $5,000 victory at Perris Auto Speedway was Faas’ 10th Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Car win, tying Mike Kirby and Rip Williams. Chase Stockon, Brady Bacon, Bryan Clauson, and Mike Spencer chased Nic to the checkered flags.

Racing Mark Alexander’s #4 Scott Sales Company / Competition Suspension Inc. Spike, Nic Faas qualified fifth out of the fifty-three cars in the pit area and won the Weld Racing Heat Race #5.
