Had the good fortune to attend all 3 nights of T Cup this year...non wing race had some bad flips with some heavy hitters done before qualifying was over.  Nimela took out Andy Forsberg & destroyed his car with a terrible slider.  Richard Vanderweerd took the win with a nice smooth drive.  He has really become one of the top non wing drivers on the West Coast IMHO.  The Friday show was tough for the late qualifiers as some fast guys missed heat eaces & had to run non qualifiers.  Friday heats were good with the fast guys in the back...TK, Meyers, Larson, & Abreau all put on great charges around the top to earn points in the heats from the tail.  Bud Kaeding put a slider on Shane Stewart that changed his whole weekend as he went from a transfer to the A to deep in the B because of his late qualifying draw.  Friday's A main was awesome!  Gravel drove a great race & during the late restarts got perfect starts to hold his lead.  Even with TK poking around the bottom in 1 & 2 he held his line on the cushion & stayed in front.  TK tried 2 sliders in 3 & 4 but Gravel stayed out front until his motor blew coming off of 4.  Looked like he won but the transponder loop is 30 feet past the flagstand so Gravel was first to the checkeers & TK was first to the Transponder.  Kid drove a great race!  Saturday heats again were awesome with the fast guys in the back coming forward lthough track was heavy so not as much passing as Fri. except for Abreau...he was on the hammer!  B main was good with the Shark Sean Becker charging from deep to get a transfer.  The A main was unreal!  Sweet started near the front & passed Tiner early for the lead & checked out.  In the back you had Larson, TK, Meyers, Abreau,& Bud Kaeding all trading spots until Larson started rolling.  Only guy to keep pace with him was Meyers but once Larson passed him he set sail for the front.  By this time lapped traffic was a factor & Sweet almost spun in Turn 2 dealing with one.  A yellow with about 12 laps to go had Larson second with lapped cars between he & Sweet.  Lapped cars were Swindell & Bud Kaeding & man did they race him hard...almost like they thought there was a lucky dog.  Bud slip Larson in turn ! but Larson sailed around the top & went after Sweet.  Sweet had a motor from Brent Kaeding so maybe that's why Bud raced Larson so hard.  Larson was moving in for the pass when a yellow flew with 3 to go.  This restart had the leaders nose to tail & Sweet got a great restart to keep the lead.  Coming to the white Larson railed Turn 4 & dove to the inside of Sweet in 1 & slid to the cushion only to have Brad drive by exiting 2.  He kept the lead down the backstretch & then entered 3 lower than he had been to block a slide job.  This allowed Larson to get in really hard & the met as they came off of 4 with Sweet spinning & flipping & Larson banging the wall & blowing the motor as he had his foot to the floor & the rear end was broken.  Managed to get to the Transponder loop firts & luckily nobody hit him as he stopped maybe 30 feet past the flagstand.  What a race!  Felt bad for Sweet as he drove a great race & I think no matter how he enterd 3 Larson was going to try someting & contact was going to happen.  Guy drove from 23rd & passed the best in the business!  Some of them twice!  Walked the track after the races & the cushion was half way up the wall in 1 & 2!  How Larson was able to ride that thing for 50 laps just blows me away!  He still had plenty of tire left too once he got up to second.  Thanks to Dave Pusateri & all the staff @ Tulare!  Best show I've ever seen!  Can't wait for next year!

So what was the verdict about who was at fault in the 4th turn tangle. Maybe neither was at fault. I'd like to hear some opinions about this.

I don't know for certain but I sincerely doubt Bradly had a problem with it.

Well after having been there all 3 nights, I for one will be ordering my tickets early for next year. The past 3 years I've been able to walk up and get tickets for just about any where you want to sit, but after this last weekend, seeing the standing room only packed house, I'm getting mine early.

Dang this race sucked so bad, I wish people would stop going! (Sarc). Lol!

Good to see you too Chris!  Bought a calander from Chiller for Granpa Gus.  Great to reunite with the old Hoserville crew & even had a chance to catch up with Eckert.  Tulare in the spring & fall just can't be beat!  Love that place!
