Scabbed these quotes of Jdfast off the Hosehead's big board, thanx Jd could'nt have said it better.

Best format in racing, best even of the year, best racing of the year, one of the best, raciest tracks I have been too.

 This from a non-wing fan who has attended Pacfic Open (Ascot), Oval Nationals (Perris), Knoxville Nationals, SCRA Midwest aces, Eldora Historic Big One, Turkey Night (too many tracks too mention), HBO at Eldora, and Indiana Speed Week (USAC).

One thing that gets forgotten, is how hard the drivers go every lap for every point.  The only other comparison would be Knoxville Nationals heat races.  It's really hard to put into words, how much harder the guys drive at this race everytime they hit the track.  No one ever rides in a comfortable spot at any time.  Hell Larson had it won, and still went for broke on the last lap.

Unless you see a Saturday night main at Trophy Cup, you will never understand how awesome this race is.  And I reiterate, I am a So CAL non-wing die hard fan from the 70's Ascot era who will never miss this event.  It kinda makes the USAC National races at Perris a little boring, and this one of the best races all year too

Randy Hannagan lost $3500 he would have gotten at a baquet just to run T/Cuup.

The format, full inversion makes it the most fan friendly event. Seems to me promoters should pick up on this, as racing is entertainment.

Quote from Kevin Eckert's F/B page;

Trophy Cup, which may have exceeded 1994 Chili Bowl as best race I have ever seen. Winning on the final corner from Row 12 was Kyle Larson, a cyborg sent to earth to make racing look easy.
