The limited modified class is the biggest division of racing in our area. They are made up of mainly 9 to 5 workers and we are putting them on the big stage because they deserve to be.

If the mods are that big of a deal in Texas and you want to give them a big stage why not give them their own seperate big show where they would be the main attraction? Like the Harris Clash at Knoxville, where the fans would just be there for the mods. Don't you think they deserve their own big stage, rather than just a filler at a big sprint car show?

The numbers side of it, especially with it now being a one day show - demand it. Lucky he's only running one support class.
I mean - you can have the all sprint show - but be ready to pay 50% more to get in. I'm by no means a fan of anything stock car - but this big stage is just fine. When are they going to run it? Next week? Nope - Short Track Nationals. Week after that - isn't that Las Cruces/El Paso?
Just saying it might be a totally different class, but it isn't always a totally different fan. They probably just don't want to race into November though. Who could blame that?
Funny how you can start a thread about 100 sprint cars at a show and get so many complaints. Although I agree about the start time - that does suck. It's still gonna be cold tonight. Can't believe they aren't starting at 7pm. But you can take it to the bank that Lanny will go to greater lengths than anyone else at running an efficient show. You just wish that show was from 7-1030pm lol.
How much would could a wouldchuck chuck if a

You guys are complaining about a sprint car race that will have 100+ sprint cars in the field In mid-October? Really? I'll be sitting in my house wishing I could be at Devil's Bowl watching a sprint car race. Go to the track and enjoy...it will be a long winter.
