Topic: where was Stevie Smith on Saturday?

I saw Stevie Smith ran on Friday night and he was not in attendance on Saturday night. I also noticed Fred Rahmer made a comment about Stevie while he was commenting on his former team. Did Stevie not run on Saturday due to his results on Friday? Was that the plan or was it a knee jerk reaction? Just curious.

"After last night's struggles and much thought the Black Bandit team has decided together that it would be best to forgo this year's National Open. This is the end of the road for the 19 team. Many thanks go to Chad and Jenn Clemens for their support and to the crew for their efforts this year."

Stevie has really struggled this year in the 19 but I think a lot had to do with the majority of the budget & resources going to the 51. That would be the 2nd time that has happened to Stevie in this car with these owners. Hopefully he will go elsewhere.

He definitely will be going elsewhere as its been officially announced that the team will not return for 2014

Lance Dewease, Greg Hodnett, and Stevie Smith are all ride hunting. Unless you have the same last name as your car owner, I'd be a little nervous about having a seat in PA in 2014..
