I think i have a picture of it somewhere around here. I'll look. Seems to me it was an Okie sprinter style like Benny Taylors 13 from the early '70s, or like Larry Holmans Enid car. Had a tail like a sprinter but cropped off at the back.

the story i have is de suggs & larry shrock got a cae sprinter & lengthen it to 100inch , however i have also heard now that two cae cars were brought to okc. arron maddon had one & bob brotherton the other. hank malone had one of them at one time, than stan sromburg loan it to suchy to finish 73 championship. what happen to the car after that.some have said the cars were 100inch cars from cae ..other say they were made to 100inch later here. I know the whereabouts of 2 100inch CAE cars.both are rollers with bolt on cages .is the story of the DE Suggscar dfferent altogether or is it one of the 2 cae cars brought into OKC. thats what i d like to know.?

Ernie Messmer helped D.E. Suggs for years and I would bet he could let you know any info he would know. He owns a Super Sprint that runs at OKC on Friday's # 11 and I believe he is from the OKC metro area, not sure what part of OKC he is from , I would imagine he could help you out on this car, I bet I have some pics of that car , just have to look through the many shoe boxes full of pics I have.

I bought one CAE stretch car in the winter of 1970, from Pat Suchy. It was the car that Bobby Reynolds on the Fairgrounds Championship in 1970. I also purchased a frame from Hank Malone, that he wrecked near the end of the 1970 season.
My car was repainted "Plum Purple" and the new number was 77. I changed out the roll cage from the Malone car and put it on 77. I left racing in June of 1971 and sold out to my partner Chuck Robinett. Chuck sold the Malone frame (it might have been a CAE car as well), but I do not who bought it. Chuck drove it the rest of 1971 and 1972. I bought it back in 1972...raced it once in Wichita Falls and wrecked the front end.
I sold it that winter to the Wichita Falls/ Devils Bowl promoter Lanny_________ (I can't remember his last name.)
There is a picture of me in the car at OKC racing Charles Frymire on either page 7 or 9 of Racin in the past. I am identified as Mike Ryming driving #67 but it is me, Mike Fleming and the car is # 77.
Hope this helps. I'd love to know where the car is today.
