Great stuff Kenny! You are not the only one that misses that place!
I go back to 1975 Western my first time. We still had a old Beck spring car we brought along for back up.
And used it at Manzy cause we wrecked the 4 bar Trosile car in Albuquerque on the way down there from
South Dakota. Took big Balls to run that place! Many great memorys!
Guess I'll See u in a month unless u come over to Ca for races before that.

I rememeber shooting this from the turn 3 scaffle. You can see the front clip of the car flyin in the air,,,,,it actually landed to the right of us with the other flying particles from the car. If you look on the left side of the video,, there is a guy in a white shirt waving his hand behind the pole.......that was Brent Kaeding and he was one of the first people to get to Ballou.

lived in phoenix in the early seventies and yes, what a place it was! does anyone remember who it was who caught a right rear and went for a ride over the fence and onto parked cars in the lot? whoa!
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...
