I hear all the really talented drivers are fed up (even to the point of depression) with car owners that insist on running exactly the same stuff as Donny Schatz but expect to beat him.  Its just totally unfair to put such great men in a nearly impossible situation.  How many great drivers are we going to have to loose to "retirement" until something is done?  Now that RoushYates and Mopar have both given up on the good fight its nearly hopeless.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

I couldn't agree more.....

Rahmer Retiring

Kauffman Retiring

The 39 -  not sure what will happen there

Hodnett ????

1A

1S Both to the road

Few guys that are really struggling financially.  Add it all up and we lose guys that can beat the Woo when they are in town.

Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

Is the 19 car done or are they returning next season just with a different driver?

Is Stevie Smith looking to travel (WoO/ASCoC) or continue running central pa?

Will Leppo be back in the Zemco car?

Stevie has been told that the 19 will not be racing if they cannot find sponsorship. I guess that mean is the car is parked for good.

CJB Motorsports & Stevie Smith are parting ways at the end of the 2013 season.

Chad & I want to Thank Stevie, Jeremy, Heath, Mike & John for all of their hard work and efforts on the CJB #19 this year. As it was a last minute decision to put the Black Bandit back on the road for the 2013 season none of us knew where it would lead and we had no future plans past this season. With heavy hearts Chad & I have decided to focus on one team. It was not an easy decision. It is not an easy task by any means fielding two sprint car teams.

We have made many friends through owning the #19 including a strong and valued friendship with Stevie, Niki & the CJB #19 crew. We look forward to finishing out the season with them. I know many are disappointed as are we.

This is a post from Chad & I personally not a scripted press release. I want people to know that we truly love & value this sport and in order for us to continue, it is in our best interest to only field one car. We can't thank all of Stevie's fans for being so supportive the last two years and to our partners, Kistler Engines, All Star Performance, Butler Built, Spectro Oils, Brown and Miller Racing Solutions, Bairs Tree Service, Nyce Crete, Landis Block & Concrete who jumped on board after we had decided to bring the Bandit back this year.

Stevie Smith is not only a great sprint car driver he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and Chad & I are honored to be able to call him our friend. We wish him nothing but the best of luck with what ever his future has in store for him. Thank you Stevie, Niki, Jeremy, Danielle, Heath, Mike & John for everything.

here's some of my predictions.

hodnett in the 20s.

lance should be back in the 27.

stevie in the zemco car

layton back in the7

and i say hodnett in the 20s cuz mr. sell said he don't have the time for the upkeep on everything and who better than lee stauffer to take care of all that . i also heard that brent marks wants in someone elses ride so im not sure bout him.

and i also am hearing about track ownership changes in the near future but out of respect of everyone involved ill leave it at that till everything is "confirmed ".

feel free to correct me on any of this ...

and i forgot to mention leppo and lucas wolfe. two accomplished drivers that deserve top notch seats.

unfortunately i don't think there is enough to go around this year . but we have some flat out studs in our corner again and a few in the 358 ranks that want their shot too.  should be interesting to say the least....

The 20s will become a thing of the past unless it is passed down to Lil Fred because of the sponsorships that Fred is able to bring along. If that does not happen Mr. Sell will race very sparingly which will not provide Hodnett with a way to make a living.

Lee will take a time out also.

The rumor is, the 20S will be piloted by The Sandman, Brandon Rahmer and the 51 will driven by Faster Freddie Rahmer...Lincoln and SSP only...Both Teams will operate out of Rahmer's Garage...

The version of the rumor I heard last was that Al Hamilton will be involved, however that has yet to be confirmed... Smile
