Some more fuel for all of the Napcar haters on the forum. I have been reading quite a bit about this since Sunday morning. Seems like a little like the 1919 Black Sox scandal to me--Couple of guys throwing the game.
We'll see how credible Nascar is after this week. The ONLY correct thing to do (if they can prove wrong doing) is to suspend Ty Norris for the 2014 season, remove both MWR cars from the Chase and dock Vickers team 50 pts. I know that seems unfair to Truex and Vickers as individuals, but they are part of a team that was cheating. No different than a college team being stripped of their bowl win after a player turns out to be ineligible. All teams were warned before the race.
If you haven't heard the audio from the 15 and 55 cars and Ty Norris (MWR team manager) take a listen--it's pretty obvious.

Support you local dirt track and ignore the lie called NASCAR.... that will take care of the problem.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

That is why I hate multi-car teams - in any forms of racing. This BS has happened in F1, Indycar, NASCAR - and more than likely in any other form as well. Racing is not a "teammate" sport.
I've always thought Clint Bowyer was arrogant anyway. Maybe this was MWRs lame attempt to pay-back Jeff Gordon for last year's Pheonix WWE episode.

Nascar is a joke. Glad everyone seen it this weekend. They penalise drivers for beating the leater back to the line only if it is someone they don't like. Both races ended with jumped starts, but where were those penalties?
NASCAR gives PEP's (Preformance enhancing parts) to whoever they feel. They let the 22 & 54 have 50 more HP than the rest of the Nationwide cars. They even help the 3 NNS car with speed, but the kid blows it when he has the fastest car. Every Chase we see two cars outdo the rest, like the stewart Edwards battle 2 seasons ago, Jimmie Johnson all the time or Kurt Busch last race.
Don't think the cars are all fair when watching CUP or Nationwide.

Richmond was a joke. I hope Newman and Gordon get to payback MWR. I thought Bowyer was a stand up guy, not anymore.

I would ban Ty Norris for life. Remember when IRL nailed Schumacher's team for team orders?! That was just him getting a race win from his teammate to win the championship. 1st and 2nd in the race. Only affected 2 cars that were on the same team. This is 100x bigger than that. If Nascar doesnt do something huge here it could kill their sport!!!!!!!

Might have something to do with the half full grandstands. How bout Danica getting the pole at Daytona.....just a matter of time until she wins the cup ya no. Worse than the WoO!

I am a big NASCAR fan. I WAS a HUGE Baseball fan. They went on strike and I completely wiped Baseball out of my "Sports". NASCAR is getting to be the same way for me. It started with the "Chase' of which I think is a joke, and with this conspiracy crap and other crap that goes on, I may soon have to start looking for something else to watch. My viewing is way down the way it is. I used to go to bars and enjoy the whole race, now I just DVR it and fast forward to the wrecks. Just lost interest in this junk........I do refuse to call it NASCRAP, FRANCECRAP or any of those other childish names some of you use. This is a huge 'black eye' on the sport, and I am waiting with baited breath to see if there will be any penalties.

Isn't it like they invented the DVR just because they knew how bad Nascar was going to get? I can watch the race with DVR is under 20 minutes! Not exactly helping the sponsors. Agree with you on all you said.

How will NAPA react? Will the company back the decision? Will the company cite preferential treatment and withdraw sponsorship from all of NASCAR ? NASCAR has opened a Pandora's Box they may regret...

Will their sponsors perhaps cite being associated with a team that has had two major scandals in it's short history and move to other teams?

Congrats to NASCAR for taking a big stand on this one. Penalties seem fair. Curious to see sponsor fall-out of all three MWR cars..... Plenty of A+ teams that would love to have their dollars.....

I'm curious why, since NASCAR says it was obvious that Boyer spun on purpose; Boyer is not out of the chase as well & Gordon put in his spot? I mean if he is the one that clearly cheated, why do they penalize his teammate that did nothing & the perpetrator is essentially getting a slap on the wrist? NASCAR is digging their own grave & are too stupid to realize they are.

Not only sponsors but how about Toyota...MWR screwed up when Toyota first got into racing and now again after a few years...MWR might be looking for a new manufacturer after this season...
