My second favorite sport starts today (well actually started Thursday night)
Who are you rooting for on Sunday's in the NFL?
I say--Go Bears!!!! (and whoever is playing the Pack)

I am a believer that KC is going to be the suprise team of the year. I believe they are going to the playoffs. Am I nuts?

The only important sporting event taking place today is the race tonight at Antioch. Anything else is just a waste of time.

I do know this after watching my Bears beat the Bengals--I was shocked that Cincy has kept Marvin Lewis around for 11 years. He may be a good coach--I don't know--but he has always had a team full of thugs that end up losing a lot of games for him. Has been that way for years. I know he has taken them to the playoffs for the last 2 years, but seems like those guys are very, very undisciplined.

I generally cheer for the teams I have money on but I have been a Bears fan so long I used to have a St. Bernard called BUTKUS back when Dick was playing. KC and the Lions are the two teams to be improved the most according to the Experts and with their record last year that shouldn't be too difficult. Jacksonville, Indy, Pittsburgh and the Raiders are teams to either be lousy or fall from grace somewhat, again quoting the Touts.....
