OCRS MANUFACTURES PERFORMANCE RANKINGS
Could It Possibly Get Any Closer?

Tulsa Oklahoma (August 29, 2013) - All season long, we have been tracking the top performers in the chassis and engine building departments that compete within the Oil Capital Racing Series. At times the rankings between first and second place would enlarge and at other times, the numbers would get tight. As this weeks rankings show, never have the numbers for the top spots been as tight as they are now.

With the win by Andrew Deal of Dewey Oklahoma (ART chassis / Jennings Engines) at the Salina Highbanks Speedway last Saturday night, along with a solid strong run by Kyle Clark (ART chassis / DSO Engines), this has allowed DSO Engines to close from five points out of first place (held by Boyd Racing Engines), to only a two point deficit margin (50-48).

In the chassis builder category, we now have a dead heat for the top spot as Maxim Chassis has caught Eagle Motorsports with each tallying 47 points. However, if the season were over today, Maxim would get the top spot with their seven wins to date. With only five events left on the 2013 schedule, these races amongst these manufactures looks to be an exciting one to watch. We will continue to track these performances as the season unfolds so keep checking in for the latest updates.

Points are awarded on a 5-4-3-2-1 point scale based on A-Feature finishes. Only the highest finishing result per manufacture in the chassis and engine categories per event are awarded MPR points.
