So bikes are just as or more dangerous than driving a sprint car.  Smoke breaks his leg in a sprint car and  Bobby Labonte breaks ribs in a bike accident.  Better look at the design if bikes and make them safer. 

 

Where's the media out cry on this accident?

semi vs smart car

yes you can make extreme examples of all kinds of completely different things

you got to admit there are many simple things that could be done to make sprint cars safer without really changing the racing, remember for years when a wing car would flip how the wings would fold up and really help absorb much of the impact, not todays wings all about as light as ppossible, they do little to stop the rolls or absorb impact compared to what they use to, just makeing a much mandatory thicker tree for them would help, makeing the nerf bars and bumpers much larger and stronger would also help much,

there are so many things on todays sprint cars that are not as strong as they were 20 years ago because of the constant search for less weight and many of those parts use to absorb much more of the impact in crashes
