I was informed today, (Monday), from Lonnie Wheatley, ASCS, that the promoter of Steele County Speedway in Owatonna, MN has cancelled the ASCS Northern Plains event scheduled for this Thursday July 26th. No other information was given.
The ASCS Northern Plains drivers will still have a big (2) night stand when they invade I90 Speedway in Hartford, SD this Friday July 27th and the next night Saturday July 28th at the Murray County Speedway in Slayton, MN.
Watch for more info coming Tuesday...CZ

This is true,,, Due to unforeseen medical circumstances, One of our business partners has had to resign from the track. We will not have the legalities straightened out before the show on the 26th so unfortunately we will have to cancel this show. We are looking into rescheduling it toward the end of September. Our next show, the USMTS show for the fair is right on schedule.
We are truly sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused everyone that has been helping to support and keep racing alive at the Steele County Speedway.

Brian,
I tried to email you but it bounced back for some reason. Just wanted to let you know that I've got a flash on order so I'll be back in the picture taking business in time for the Fair race next month.

Sounds good Stan,,,, you might want to buy an extra battery pack too because it should be a good show,,, USMTS mods AND fair food!!! (there's cold beer there too Lanman!!! LOL)....

Dang,,, I think that we pulled a fast one on old mother nature last night,,,, At about 5pm it just poured in Owatonna,,,,, I'm starting to think that the farmers need to hire us to predict when it is going to rain,,, So far it's rained on three of five events......LOL
