What does Port or Lincoln pay to start a 25 lap feature...?

It was my first trip to the track...It remindes me of Port except, at Port, they need to take the mufflers off of the cars and put them on the microphone... wink

A muffler rule for the microphone is genius! I wear earplugs in the stands at Knoxville but don't in the pits.

So simply asking the question as to why more 410 farmers don't show up to Bedford Speedway makes me a whiner...? :/

Just talked with a friend who has raced Bedford before and actually likes to race there.  He isn't a farmer , so maybe his observations won't count.  Positives for Bedford are the surface and no tire rule.  The expense of towing 275 miles round trip is listed as a negative.($100)  Fuel cost in the neighborhood of $100.  A new tire would be needed before the next feature($220).  Had thought about going but currently has some motor issues.  You will have to check with the 410 farmers.

Really!!!???  Well if you want teams, who have already raced once or twice on the weekend, to pony up the expense to run a 3rd night, a Sunday night to boot, then maybe you should get your checkbook out and help out!  Also, maybe you can afford to do a few other things - like pay the crew members, driver and team owner for the vacation day they might have to take on Monday because of a Sunday night race.  When are people going to get it through their thick skulls that 97% of the best central teams are NOT full time race teams!  As a previous car owner it just pisses me off how you all high & mighty keyboad jockeys think it is so easy.

By now Bedford should have learned (& you too) that Sunday races that far away don't work.  So the best thing you can do now is go to these races, shut up and have fun & stop passing judgment on those that don't go and coming on message boards and bit$%ing about it.

My wife and I drive 540 miles to PA twice a month or so during racing season to see sprint car racing. That ain't counting our trips to Volusia and Ocala, to Knoxville, Eldora, and to Indiana. All to watch sprint car racing with a midget show or two in between. If that ain't supporting sprint car racing, I don't know what is. Heading to Attica and Wayne County next week...600 miles away. Perhaps I didn't express my self clearly enough, but I was trying to say that the number of car OWNERS was worrisome as they have been the cornerstone of racing. I don't know how you misinterpeted that.
