Your reasoning is wacky. I mean, we don't have to be obsessive about a engine that dominates all sprint car racing across the states. The reason FORD guy's are obsessive about the elusive FORD is because it's so rarely observed out on the track that it's news when there's one out there.

My reasoning is it makes no sense that no one cares when a hard working guy like Chris Moss brings a totally unique all new piece but everyone talks about the latest millionaire replacing a driver named Joe with one named Daryn or at the very best a guy getting China to reproduce a 1989 Maxim.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

There are certainly many blind ones as well. All three of the other major traveling dirt series' standings (National ASCS, WoO Late Model and Lucas Oil Late Model) are being led currently by Ford powered cars.

So what kind of engine did the winner have?

Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..

I feel quite certain if ANY of the top teams in the WoO felt Ford was a viable motor they would have already been running it.
Since I don't follow the other series you mentioned I won't comment on them.
Our Civil War series out here runs 360's and I don't know any of them running a Ford.
Maybe (someday) it will make another run in the WoO which I consider the major series for 410 racing.
I've nothing against them but I don't understand all the "chest thumping" over a motor.

Chevy could win everything everywhere and I'm still buying and driving Fords...
Opinions may vary...

When Kenny Woodruff builds another FORD like the one he built for Casey, then we'll all have something to talk about.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.
