I see "The Cushion" is broadcasting both the 360 and 410 Nationals. Was wondering if you bought the monthly membership how much a discount you get for live broadcasts and what do you get to see in the monthly membership channel.
Thanks

It looks like a 10% discount, probably cheaper to order it and get the 10% discount for 8 nights of action this week and next.

Depends on what monthly membership you want- but you get a discount on ppv shows and you get access to their on demand programming.

Another question - the verbiage on their site kind of confuses me (*Only coverage marked LIVE PPV are live broadcasts). Do the Live PPV broadcasts get put into the On Demand content? Given how it's worded, I would say no, but can anyone clarify? What if you purchase the package? Is it then available for On Demand viewing?

From the way I understand it (and it does seem confusing) if you buy the monthly membership for $9.99 a month or $79.99 for yearly membership, you then also have to pay more for the PPV and the most popular races are all PPV. The Knoxville Nationals price is $124.00 for a 4 day package and I personally think that price is too steep on top of their membship price you have pay.

The PPV price and a ticket are close to the same and I think that is fair. This Live internet PPV system is really in its infancy but it is the future of short track racing and is probably to a leeser degree the future of NFL and Ncaa FB. Similar to TV Blackouts in home teams markets Knoxville has to do something to encourage live gate as revenue stream #1 and keeping the price high seems to be it. As these PPV's catch on there will be an evolution that occurs and makes it more affordable (see ads) but until then its going to cost. Knoxville will never be a beacon of innovative promoting but I do applaud their decision to ditch the Recorded for Broadcast format with Speed and go to a live PPV buy.
More weight, more regulation, more similarity in the
cars.... that will ensure plenty of thrills for years
to come. Only the most average talent behind the
wheel will be needed with such awesome equipment on
the track!

Also if the people at Knoxville and the cushion.com would like my feedback in long form they could kindly email me log in credentials for the next 12 days and I will write them a lovely book report
