Think I might just drive or ride up to SMS and watch the King of Nevada series.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Another 1/2 pound in the right rear boys, off to Santa Maria.
I'm picking Kile Hirst to win and 24 cars.
Nice bowl of pea soup on the way.
Cachuma bypass is 10 miles shorter.
101 more scenic.

So how was PAS speedway motorcycle racing ?. I rode up to SMS for the KWS show and it was worth the 450 mile round trip. Thank you SMS for being the one place in so cal that a sprint car fan could go watch a race this weekend. HUGE CROWD. Good show.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Guess the race director and USAC people were to busy promoting the southwest series at the race director of USAC/CRA 410s own track to schedule a race in southern calif during the month of July with perfect weather.looking more like a club instead of a national sanctioning body.

Santa Maria KWS Feature: Hirst, Croft, Allard, Netto, Statler, Bud Kaeding (from 19th), Eliason, Brent Kaeding, Stidham, Scelzi, Suggs, Compton, Droivoid, Gandy, Deshales, Strole, Harvey, Macedo, Tarlton. Save for Bud's run through the pack, it was pretty much a choo choo train deal. 19 cars, at least.

That's more than nonsense that you'd mention a race over here in AZ, a 360 one to boot, that was scheduled since the beginning of the season for the failures of that sweetheart deal you have going over there with the 410's. Now If you think Kevin as a "race" director has any say with what the big boy's have to say about scheduling in Cali is concerned, you're way out of touch. Man, you boy's over there are real quick to pass the buck anywhere except to where it belongs; your own back yard.

I don't blame you Rob, but to put it on Kevin who only comes over to Cali for the 410 races as the director of that race is stupid. I might live in AZ now, but as you and some of my other friends know, the CRA was my home team too and I also hate to see what's happening with it back in my old home state of California.

Kenny I believe I've heard you call it a CLUB instead of a Santioning body. So leave your cats meds alone.

Wrong Randy, I've called Ventura a club and it used to be a good one. Club is not a derogatory name for a group of racers, in fact it was a very common term for many top organizations at one time. Anyway, it wasn't his term "club" I was referring to, now was it?
