Stockton, CA – July 23, 2013…On Saturday August 3 the fire breathing King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series wil...l make its anticipated debut at the brand new and much publicized Stockton 99 Dirt Track. After a very successful World of Outlaws event earlier this year everyone involved is eager to see the powerful Winged 410 Sprint Cars return to the venue on August 3.

The lightning fast 3/8 mile clay oval provided some thrilling moments earlier this year during its grand opening on March 22 with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. The main event saw a couple of former Golden State/ King of the West 410 champions duke it out for the win, with 2010 series titlist Kyle Larson coming out on top of a nail biter over two-time series champ Tim Kaeding.

“We are really looking forward to hosting all the cars and stars of the King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series coming up on August 3,” said promoter Toni Noceti. “This is one of those series that has fans all throughout California and has a great following wherever they go. They also put on a great event each night and know how to keep the fans entertained. It’s going to be a terrific show and we can’t wait to see the 410’s back at the Stockton 99 Dirt Track.”

The Stockton 99 Dirt Track is located on the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds in Stockton, California and is built inside a one-mile horse track. The grandstands and facility is one of the nicest on tour with the King of the West 410 Series & it certainly makes for a Sprint Car racing fan experience like no other. Following the World of Outlaws event in March the track was featured in various national publications and has been the talk of the sport throughout the state of California.

King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series regular Willie Croft captured a victory at the Stockton 99 Dirt Track during an open competition 360 Sprint Car show in June and looks forward to returning there on August 3. “They have done a really good job with the Stockton 99 Dirt Track and it’s a fun place to race at,” Croft said. “We’re excited for the KWS 410 event on August 3 and hope all the fans will come out, because they will see a great show. It’s definitely a high speed joint and has put on some great racing so far.”

The event on August 3 will mark the 14th round of competition for the King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series and the first of two season appearances at the Stockton 99 Dirt Track. The other will occur on Saturday November 2 and will also serve as championship night, with some special items on tap that will be announced soon.

Three-time & defending King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series champion Jonathan Allard is another one looking forward to the August 3 outing. “It’s always nice to see new tracks come into the mix out here and the Stockton 99 Dirt Track is a great facility for Sprint Car racing,” Allard commented. “It was pretty cool to see so many fans come out and support the Outlaw show in April and you don’t want to miss the KWS event on August 3. It’s a great location and a place you definitely have to check out if you haven’t been there yet.”

The front gate will open at 5pm on Saturday August 3 with qualifying around 6:30pm and racing anticipated to start at about 7pm. Adult tickets will cost $20, seniors & military will be $15, kids six to 12 will be $10 and children five and under free. The pit gate will open at 1pm for haulers to move in and then will be swept at 3pm.
