Hodnett lost a cylinder about 10 laps to go.  That MAY be the reason why Schatz won??  Just sayin'!!

Regardless that was some very good racing for the lead for a few laps especially when it was Schatz, Hodnett, and Dewease battling it out close to the halfway mark.  Hodnett was the only guy I could see that could run near the top of 1 & 2, but that apparently went away when he lost the cylinder.  At least that's what was said after the race was over.

I beleive the Cali boys rattled their cages a bit in the last couple seasons.

Yeah I saw that Roth 83 car didn't make the show and loaded up early.  Where is he from again?   He looked pretty fast at the Kings royal last weekend from my turn 1 seat. Not so much last night. Yeah Cali represented well last night.

Schats went out 27th according to race monitorm but he has that track locked in lately. From 31st on the best time turned was the 31st car out of Kemanah, at 15th quick. Seemed like the track really fell off at that point, and getting a good lap in was not going to happen, even for locals.

That's usually the case whenever the Grove has TT's. It was much better when they used to do 1 lap TT's for WOO shows.

Posse 8 out of top 12! Wow, I would hope so don't they run here every week or so? Don't get me wrong Posse drivers are great and make it fun for all of us but this argument of them being dominant in home state is pretty dumb and same with Cali bunch. Should you not be dominant at home track you run every week?? Only if their haulers had fuel range over 250 miles then we can see who the best are!

The "Posse" is a very good bunch of race car drivers,  but man the crowing the "PA" peeps do is as if they are all everything world beaters.  Better get a grip of reality there peeps,  your " Posse" is masters of the big track dry slicks.  Take them away from that element and there average at best.  Heavy bullrings give them fits and they load up early,  that is if you can get them to attempt to race outside there beloved "PA".  Just good racers, no better, no worse than the rest of the country.  "Come on PA"  come off the high horse give it a rest.

Who's crowing? It's always the posse haters starting the shit every time a posse car doesn't win against the WOO. That's probably why very few PA fans even come to this board anymore. I've seen a lot more crowing from the CA people the last couple years and that's fine. I don't have a problem with it.  They've produced some elite drivers and scored some WOO wins but when was the last time the locals took 9 of the top 13 against the WOO at a CA track?

'come off the high horse and give it a rest'? The 4th post into this  string Sprint514 called last night's race performance a 'pose embarrassment'. Then responders list some facts to dispute the 'embarrassment' label and they get called crowing peeps. Well if having 3 out of the top 4, 6 of the top 9, and 9 of the top 13 positions is an embarrassment, guess I don't understand the meaning of the term. Again, statistically speaking, one could argue over the years the Posse is best at defending home turf...nobody, other than a few over the edge posse fans (and we all know who they are) think they are better than the Outlaws. Also, another complaint about not running outside Pa....well, there are enough races in and around Pa on the schedule there's no need to leave the porch, but maybe you could ask the car owners that question, they're footing the bill. Personnaly, I'm glad they don't travel....I get to enjoy seeing them race twice a week and not have to travel more than 50 miles round trip.

While I am certainly a fan of our Cali boys the Posse did very well last night.  As it has been pointed out they pretty much claimed the top ten with the exception of a couple of places.  They are very hard to beat on their home turf.  Some people need to post about "facts" other than dislikes.

The track was screwed in the first session of hot laps, 3-4 started blowing dust on lap 4 ...look at Knsers TT...he went out early and the surface was so scoured up that IT DID NOT MATTER!

I'm not from PA or CA, but I know the rain won 2, Schatz won 2 and posse won 1. Cali won almost all their mains against the outlaws, so I'd have to say Cali is a little better than Pa this season. And calling TK out for one bad night.. is not cool. When your posse guy has 7 wins this season with the WoO then you can talk trash about a true outlaw.

Yeah my bad, Schatz was supposed to go out 31st but locals Steve Buckwalter, Stevie Smith and Jimmy Siegel had problems in hotlaps.

I think you misuderstood the context of the statement ozzie07 was making. He was saying that when the outlaws come to Calif, the Ca locals have held their own against them, just as good as any region does in the country, beating, even owning them them on a several occassions at different tracks, and have very good finishes. It was not a statement of how Ca drivers have done in Pa. If anyone is doubting the abilities of TK these days, please have your head examined. He has admitted to always struggling at the grove, and qualifying as bad and late and as he did put him in too deep of a hole for him to climb out of.

Now that the p__sing contest seems to have wound down a bit, and at the risk of being labeled a threadkiller, how about talking about a real issue and that is the number of points Shatz shaved off of the gap between he  Pittman and McMahon?

ooops, I wanted to say something else that falls under the p__sing contest category  before I sent the last post. I believe everyone acknowledges Kaeding's abilities and feel no ill wuill towards him. Speaking for myself, and I think a number of other Posse fans, the chest pounding  and negativity toward anything not Calif coming out of the left coast is unprecedented....yet the Posse fans get called everything from _____ to _____, well you can fill in the blanks. The one that really bothered me, and should all true sprint car fans, was several weeks ago when someone (don't know what part of the country he's from) called the drivers Pa 'pussies' because they don't travel. Travel or not, they put everything on the line week in and week out and deserve at least a bit of respect. We should all recognize that after the Leffler incident.

And ok Kaeding had a late draw and that can be used as an excuse, but Hodnett lost a cylinder with 10 to go that most likely cost him the race, but is anyone taking that into account?

Didn't Kinser, Schatz, Darrah, and McMahon all win races last year at the Grove?   I enjoy a flat half mile from time to time but I wouldn't even be a fan of sprints if Williams Grove, Port Royal, and Lincoln were my only options.  I guess Lincoln is alright but unless Central PA fans travel outside of their comfort zone, they dont know what good exciting sprint car racing is.

We take if for granted in the midwest- Pevely, Haubstadt, Kokomo, Bloomington, Lawrencesburg, Knoxville, LaSalle, Burlington, Paducah, and etc....

Not to mention all the wingless sprints and UMP Late Model races that we have...

Yes, Schatz backed into yet another one. Hats off to his Central PA crew chief Ricky Warner.

3 of the top 4 and 8 of the top 12, yeah that's an embarassment. If it wasn't for 1 driver, the WOO's batting average the last 10 years at the Grove would be below the mendoza line. World of Outlaws or Donnie and the Also Rans?

Couldn't have said it better myself.
