OCRS MANUFACTURES PERFORMANCE RANKINGS

Tulsa Oklahoma (July 4, 2013)
– Last weekends Oil Capital Racing Series doubleheader events of both non-wing and winged racing action saw some movement in this weeks Manufactures Performance Rankings and some strong showing by the current leaders.

In the chassis manufactures category, Eagle, XXX and Maxim continue to lead the way. XXX closed to within six points of leader Eagle by virtue of a win at Brill Motor Speedway by Danny Smith, backed by a runner-up finish by Smith at Lawton Speedway the next night. The win at BMS gives XXX a series leading five wins in 2013. Maxim has four triumphs thanks to the win at Lawton by Harli White and is third in the standings with 29 points just one shy of XXX.

Boyd Racing Engines and Dyno Services of Oklahoma each scored solid points for their performances over the weekend. DSO won at BMS and was second at Lawton with Smith while White’s victory lane visit at Lawton with Boyd power came a night after with a third place finish at BMS. While Boyd Racing Engines continues to lead the performance standings, DSO jumps into second place this week after being tied for third last week and is only two points back of Boyd. STK Racing Engines is holding the third spot down with thanks to Alex DeCamp for his runner-up finish at BMS. Boyd leads in wins with four while DSO and STK each have three victories.
