What a great night at Lincoln. Large crowd, nice field of cars, and the track prep was super despite hot, sunny, and windy conditions. Program was run quickly and efficiently with a nice tribute for Kevin Gobrecht with the Gobrecht family at intermission. According to Wayne Harper the Gobrecht Foundation has raised almost $250,000 in scholerships over the past 14 years.
The racing was superb thruout the field with multiple lanes. Three wide at the white flag with Stevie beating Marks at the checkered by half a car length and Krimes right behind. Intense battle for 5th a the last several laps with Dietrich getting the position slidding across the finish line backwards just edging out Montieth and Rahmer. Even with the 20 minute intermission, the 410 show was over by 10 or 10:15 and I was home by 10:45....kudos to Lincoln on a great show. Williams Grove could take some pointers for sure.

Sounds like your Thursday night at Lincoln was infinitely better then my Wednesday night at Huset's.

Yeh...sorry to hear there were some issues at Huset's. It's unfortunate when you spend hard earned money and see a less than stellar product.
