An unfortunate spelling error on a Pennsylvania road sign has drivers laughing and state officials preparing to cough up more money to fix it.

According to FOX43, several signs went up last Friday in the borough of Ephrata.

One of them, though, was spelled: "Epharta."

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reportedly is aware of the spelling flub and plans to have a contractor fix it within a few weeks. The cost could run up to $1,200 -- that's in addition to the $2,114 the signs cost to make.

Until then, the Lancaster County sign telling drivers that the "Epharta" exit is two miles away will stay up.

I don't know but this reeks of a combination of BRR and Stan!
