Odd that the Outlaws can make it 34 laps without a tire/fuel stop but the Invaders can't?

It's a special promotional deal... bonus Money for mid way leader, Fan Interaction, etc... Something we did last year at this race. Odd that you would question it? Is your team racing it?

Do fans not get to question things? Just seems kind of odd to throw in a scheduled stop when it usually wouldn't be necessary.

I can understand it's being done for promotional purposes, but more times than not stopping for fuel/tires has a detrimental effect on the on-track product. I would assume as a track promoter, you would welcome hearing fans' opinions in the matter, but it appears not to be the case here. Best of luck on the show.

It was done last year... and not only the FANS... but the drivers appreciated all of the efforts of making the show a success! That's why we're doing it again this year! Odd that you wouldn't remember this from last year?

Wasn't able to go to last year's show. I know you're not into welcoming suggestions, but PR classes would be a good one. It's a shame to see a track promoter/owner with this type of attitude towards a fan. As I said, best of luck with the show - hope for a good turnout and good racing.

Amy, I've driven down from Knoxville for quite a few of your shows and have enjoyed every one of them. I also appreciate that the times it has rained you went above and beyond to get the show in and when it was rained out or posponed, I appreciate the extra incentives you offered patrons to encourage them to come back. If you would listen to my advice, I would quit trying to reason with this individual as it is apparent that he hasn't even been to your track and, I am just guessing now, but I do believe the 16 in his screen name is not a car number, it is his age.
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

My post about the pay out was not directed toward 34 Raceway. It is great that you are trying to do something special. And I am sure that it will be a success for everyone who attends. The point is engines and race cars versus the pay out for sprint car racing is way out of balance. Do the research of the pay outs of 1975 compared to today.

Better race would be 50 laps with your red flag at the 25 lap mark. Now I would come down and watch that. I really don't understand a 34 lapper with a red at 20 laps even as a promotional deal. Oh well I won't be there anyway so whatever.

By the way the WoO show was a really good show, thanks.

For thr people who have not been to 34 raceways and enjoy Sprintcar Racing This track is a high banked 3/8 mile with modern bleachers Good food and Cold beer even a beer stand in turn 1 334 dollars to start the A main is a good thing and the red flag at lap 20 should bring more excitement I would expect More cars than a regular 360 Knoxville Show to be there Hell Maybe Sammies 70s car will even be there in the Vintage class !

Because I voiced my opinion with a valid question, I'm obviously immature. A simple answer would have sufficed, not the snide attitude. Like it or not, as a promoter - especially one using a forum for virtually free advertising - you're in the lime light and if you choose to treat your patrons a certain way, it will show in your business. Also, I've been to 34 several times, but thanks for assuming - shouldn't your years of maturity give you the wisdom to know better than that?
