As we continue to celebrate Eagle Raceway's Anniversary during the 50 Years of Slingin' Dirt season, we want to recognize those drivers who made Eagle Raceway great.
Next Saturday, June 15th will be Hall of Fame Night at Eagle, presented by Bud Light. On that night, we are asking that drivers from the past who have battled on the high banks of America's Home Track over the past 50 years come out and be honored.
Please pass the word to any and all competitors about this. If they wish to participate, all that they need to do is drop an e-mail to Michelle at [email protected] with the subject "Hall of Famer". Of course, they can always contact her at (402) 238-3766.
If possible, we would love to see some of the vintage cars that they drove. That way, the younger generation can see how our beloved sport evolved. They will be on display in the courtyard all evening long.
So, let's get the ball rolling. Call, fax, mail, e-mail or pay a visit to those drivers and have them sign up!!!
P.S. Let's all do the anti "R word" dance. I think that we all are REALLY ready to see some racing!!!
