What has become of South Dakota sprint car driver Chuck Swenson. Haven't seen or heard of him racing so far. Maybe retired?

His son has been running a B mod up this way for the last few years. That is the only time i've seen him around.

I saw or heard somewhere last weekend that a driver who runs both Mod and Late Model bought a custom made Swenson hauler so he could carry both cars. Believe that might have been in Ed Reichert's column in All The Dirt and he was talking about Darrell Nelson. Swenson must still be building those.

Chuck was at the spring Jackson Nationals last year driving the yellow X and finshed around 15th. Hope he comes back.

Chuck tried to make a comeback early last year. He told me he'd try it for a while, but if he wasn't fast, he wouldn't keep at it. I don't think he raced past mid-season. He did ok, but didn't run up front regularly like he used to.
I know he sold a lot of his stuff later in the year. Not sure if he kept anything...
