The sprint car community is once again proving how awesome it is.
Four tracks are confirmed drop-off sites for donations this weekend: Knoxville, Canyon, Perris and Santa Maria. Please call the track or check their facebook pages or websites for what specific donations they are looking for.
BIG thank you to TeeJay Crawford ([email protected]) and Stephanie Odom ([email protected]) who are leading the charge at Canyon, Perris and Santa Maria. And to 305 driver J Kinder who is offering and loading the trailer of supplies in Knoxville. http://www.knoxvilleraceway.com/Article/1626
Contact any of the above mentioned for more information. Two drivers lost their homes in the tornado and I-44 Speedway was horribly damaged. We can make a difference!

All of us at the Oil Capital Racing Series would like to
say "Thank You" to Kendra along with all the great people helping and all the racetracks that are involved in
assisting those in need from the devastating Moore Oklahoma tornado's
that hit this week. Our own series had two drivers lose their homes.
Whit Gastineau and his father Steve Gastineau each lost homes as did
Dan Schnackenberg the day before in another tornado in Shawnee,
Oklahoma.
In addition to the donated items the racetracks
in Kendra's postings are collecting for the victims, there are also
recovery fund programs set up for the members of the OCRS sprint car
series. For those that wish to make a cash donation, all cash donations
are TAX DEDUCTABLE as the recovery funds are set up with a valid TAX ID #
from the IRS. These recovery funds that cash can be sent to are:
Triad Bank c/o: Gastineau Recovery Fund 7666 East 61st St, Suite 150 Tulsa, Oklahoma 74133
OR.................
Triad Bank c/o: Schnackenberg Recovery Fund 7666 East 61st St, Suite 150 Tulsa, Oklahoma 74133
Thank you to everyone that chooses to lend a helping hand!

John:
We are thinking about the Gastineau and Schnackenberg families as well as everyone who was affected by these terrible storms. I hope we can make a difference!
Thank YOU for what you're doing and please let us know how we can continue to help.
Kendra

81 Speedway and NCRA are doing the same Saturday night (NCRA modified show) and Sunday night (NCRA late models/NCRA sport mods) as well. Will have a trailer at the track and those who donate will get a chance to win free tickets to upcoming events including the annual "Hutchinson Grand Nationals."
