(May 7, 2013) – The family of the late Harold Leep Jr is offering a $500
cash bonus to the sprint car driver that becomes victorious in taking the
checkered flag in Saturday nights 5th Annual Harold Leep Jr Memorial
event. The race will be held at the Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada Oklahoma and
will be sanctioned by the Tulsa based Oil Capital Racing Series. The $500 cash
bonus is up for grabs providing there is a 30 plus car count for the event. The
main event will start 20 cars.
The
Leep family has been a solid fixture in the central plains since the glorious
days of Harold Leep Sr. when he won races all over the landscape. Leep Jr took
to racing as well and while not chalking up the victories as his Hall of Fame
inductee father did, Leep Jr was as well received and admired by the fans just
as well. This bonus offering by the Leep’s is just another gesture of their
good nature.
