Might have been "ladies & gentlemen" by Saliva. I wanst there last night but it was the song at Eldora. NHRA uses that song on ESPN2 durin the opening of the races on TV. I heard it last year, thought it would be cool for the beginning of a race.
Rock On!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Craig: "There is dirt in my beer"
Tony: "That means your at a real racetrack"

I believe it was ACDC's "Hell's Bells", I was listening to the Lima show via DirtVision last night.
Personally I prefer "For Those About to Rock" by ACDC for the opening song.

"Hell's Bells" played when the cars pushed for the A-main. I believe the song in question is "Sirius" by Alan Parsons Project (The Michael Jordan-era Chicago Bulls were introduced while "Sirius" played, and I believe the Nebraska Cornhuskers use it as well.) When the cars go four wide, we use "Sirius", then as they come out of turn four, it's either "Tom Sawyer" by Rush, "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns-n-Roses, or Saliva's 'Ladies & Gentlemen". Hope that helps. . .

The Sunday night regular show before the Outlaws at Husets, they played the "Sirius" song as the sprints were pacing for their A main. It was a pretty neat prelude for the Tuesday night show!!!!
Fenders are like vacuums... they both suck.

I think the perfect song for the 4-wide salute is "High Speed Dirt" by Megadeth. I think the lyrics talk about sky diving but the song is a regular by Dave Mustaine and Co.; heavy and in your face and the title fits perfectly!

Johnny, you are right, that is our tunnel walk song for the Cornhuskers. Also, my ring tone for my cell phone.....love it.
