Saturday night I got knocked out of the WAR nonwing series feature at Lebanon Midway Speedway in MO...I watched the last 15 laps from the pits and saw a plain blue #27 drive very smart and smooth and pick up the win...then I found out that the winning driver was 72 year old Bob Thoman.... that got me to wondering...Does anybody on here know who has the record of being the oldest driver to park a sprinter in victory lane, and how old he was when it happened? I know a year or 2 ago I saw an article about another 70 something winning a race somewhere but I can't remember any of the details/
Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.

Hopefully Eckert chimes in... I'm sure he knows. My guess would be Frank Riddle... know that he raced well into his 70s.

I LEARNED ESP FROM MY MOM

"PUT YOUR SWEATER ON: DON'T YOU THINK I KNOW WHEN
YOU'RE COLD?"

We have Jim "Cowboy" Kennedy here in PA. I believe he is well into his 70's and still winning 305 races. After this guy wins he Yodels...Pretty good entertainment when he wins.
