Just want to get the word out before the rumor starts that Adam Main is okay, he is NOT dead!! He crashed quite badly at Eldora and was Life Flight lifted from there to the hospital. So far as we know right now he is awake, aware and has at least a broken collar bone, only know that for sure. I will let you know when we hear what else his injuries might be. But for now, we can be thankful he is not on a critical list as being air lifted usually means.
For those of you that don't know, Adam has been out in the mid-west racing for the last month. He has done very well, he even finished 7th in a National ASCS race. He is really getting to be quite a driver! This is just not what should have happened to this great kid!

UPDATE 9:19 pm Tuesday night
Just got off the phone with Shain Matthews, he is back there with Adam. Adam jumped a rear tire and took a nasty ride in turns one and two. He was knocked out at the scene but quickly came to. He was air lifted out of Eldora for precaution. Once at the hospital he was diagnosed with a broken collar bone, severe concussion and the obvious bumps and bruises....His spirits are good and his parents are flying out of Sac tomorrow to join him. His brother Kyle flew out last night to join him the night before this race..
Adam is a young kid who has run 360 stuff the past two years in California, along with Oregon and Washington...He was on a two month trip back to the mid west. The boy is dang near a brother to me, so I will update you when I talk to the family...The Mains are great people and I'm sure they will read the boards and enjoy the nice thoughts from us fans....
thanks,
Troy Hennig

We talked to Adam last night. He was groggy from the medication but sounded very good. He does not remember the accident, as is normal in these cases. But, we are so happy it is turning out as well as it is.
