31 (?) 410 non-wing race cars.

Fastest CRA qualifiers in order: Clauson in one of Mike Martin's cars at :16.392, D. Gardner at :16.609 (he qualified very early on gummy track), R. Gardner in the blue Kittle #18, Faas in the silver Alexander #4, Spencer in the red Chaffin #50; Bernal in the black Ford #73, Cardey in the white, Sertich Moose Mobile #92 and Austin W. in the black Jory #2 were also in the top eight; Clauson by himself; the rest almost within a tenth of each other.

California Lightning Sprints (winged weed eater midgets with 75+/- CI crotch rocket 4-bangers) qualified via transponders during hot laps at 7:10-7:15; they were about a second a lap slower than the non-winged 410 CRA cars. PAS Senior Sprints drew pills for the heat starting positions.

First CRA heat: Bernal, Kruseman and Clauson in a 3-wide sandwich behind leader Mitchell coming out of turn two at 7:36 pm, and it did not work: Kruser upside down in the yellow Priestly #7 with the right front wheel off. Matt Mitchell, Ryan Bernal, Bryan Clauson and Mike Spencer transferred.

Second CRA heat: R. J. Johnson, Marcus Niemela, Damion Gardner and Rickie Gaunt tranferred.

Third CRA heat: Jace VDW and Austin Williams both appeared to cook their engines or at least blow a lot of petroleum onto their headers; sooooooo... red flag. Both cars will be back, Scott says. Rich VanderWeerd, Ronnie Gardner, Cody Kershaw and Johnny Bluntach transferred after Bluntach passed Brody Roa.

Fourth CRA heat: Mike Martin, Bud Kaeding, Nick Faas and Cody Williams transferred after a wild battle between Faas, Williams and David Cardey

Kevin Michnowicz won the first of two CLZ winged buzz bomb heats. Steve Limon won the second one.

PAS Senior Sprint heat: Top five in the eight-lapper Denome, Williams, Hendrix, Schwartz, Davis.

CRA B Main: Austin Williams, David Bezio, Ripper, Brody Roa, J.J. Ercse and Jace VanderWeerd transferred; no less than 14 others did not.

CLS Main: Former URC midgeteer and CRA jockey Dan Hilberg racing away from the field on lap four and heading into lapped traffic. Final: D. Hilberg, S. Limon, K. Michnowicz, J. Bissett. Twenty laps in under six minutes without a flag.

PAS Senior Sprint Main: Former CRA pilot Rick Hendrix (from the outside front and by a half a lap?), Ed Schwartz, Jesse Denome, Victor Davis and Bruce Douglas.

CRA A Main starting lineup: Bernal, Spencer, Faas, R. Gardner, D. Gardner, Clauson, Bezio, A. Williams, Gaunt, R. VDW, C. Williams, R. Williams, Roa, Ercse, Johnson, J. VDW, Kaeding, Mitchell, Neimela, Kershaw, Martin, Bluntach, Wilson.

CRA A Main underway with Spencer pulling away, and Clauson, Bernal, Faas and Damion chasing on lap five. Big mess on lap eight with Mitchell, Ercse, Wilson and Kaeding all verblungent in turn four. Full red. This will put Clauson on Mikey's tail, and all those other wild men behind the national champ. Spencer's engine goes smokey, and Mikey goes into the wall just past the start-finish at the end of the restart lap; yellow flag. Clauson, Demon, Nick, Ryan... and then, Ryan comes unglued and into the wall coming out of turn two after banging wheels with Damion (and breaking his steering linkage) just a bit earlier. Now we have a red flag after Bezio went up and over in turns three and four; his car really took a thrashing, but he's okay. And another flag; Clauson, D. Gardner, Faas, Gaunt, R. Gardner on the restart. Then Rich VDW, all three Williams cars, Jace VDW. Twelve laps to go. Faas and Damion all over each other for second and third with two to go.

Unofficial finish: Bryan Clauson, Damion Gardner, Nick Faas, Rickie Gaunt, Cody Williams, Ronnie Gardner, Rich VanderWeerd, Rip Williams, Austin Williams, Jace VanderWeerd.

Thanx, Bruce. Happy to help, and it keeps me out of trouble (temporarily).
