I bought this sign at the KRCO fundrasier last night and was wondering if anyone knew how long it had been at the track or if anyone has photos with it in the background maybe? Just looking for a little info to see if I can figure out how long it had been there. No one at the auction knew, they just said it had been there a long time. Thanks for any help.

That was a really fun night and a great auction for a great cause. Good work by the KRCO.
As far as the sign, I would have no idea. Some of the people that may have know are not with us anymore. You may try to get in touch with Don Frey Sr. as he ran the beer stand for many years. Past board members Jack Kingery or Duane Robuck may have an idea. Good luck.

Been going there since the early 70's and I have always remembered it. but then again alot of those early years were spent at the famous Dingus, so i don't remember alot. Nice piece just dont let Mike and Frank get a hold of it. LoL
