Hello Im looking for anyone that has, or knows of where a good vending trailer could be for lease or purchase or possibly a location during the Nationals? Ive been asked by so many people lately if I was gonna have our pizza at the Nationals and hear it about 500 times a night roaming the pits . I am trying my best to land somewhere trust me its been a plan for several years but just havent been able to work things out as far as timing to get something going. Id even work a deal out with someone if they wanted to go in partnership during the nationals. For those of you that know I have Corigliano's Pizza in des moines and I've brought pizza down to friends, sponsorship parties, cars we sponsored ourselves, and even up in the announcers booth occasionally but the pizza really doesnt like the 30 mile ride and instead of being fresh and homeade like it is in store it ends up tasting like one of the chain restaruants. I really wanna try it out in Knoxville and who knows things go good enough possibly buy a location and open a Corigliano's Pizza year round down there preferably near the Dingus area as we have always chatted about doin some business during the races. Id appreciate it. either message me here or [email protected] thanks again.

Somebody get the guy a trailer!!! I used to eat at Corigliano's whenever I got the chance during highschool. If you've never had it...you're missing out!!

I see that the Dingus now has food available.....I wonder if something could be worked out to sell pizza slices out of the beer garden during the day?

I've been going to the Nats for quite a few years now. Seems like there is plenty of other great food to be had but no good pizza anywhere in town during the week. Hope you can get something worked out so us Italians can have some real pizza. Never been to your resaurant in DM but have heard of it from some friends. Good luck!!

Damn my father and I appreciate the support of our business its been alot of hard work let me tell ya. I plan on doing alot of things with our DM location and hopefully Knox, also after finding out by some crazy luck out of all the towns in america good ol Des Moines is the frozen pizza capitol of the world. So dont be surprised in a few months if you might see us go frozen as well.

Pizzadude, what about the former quick shop type place across the street from the track???
Or better yet maybe talk to the fairboard and see if you can take over selling at the track instead of that god awful stuff that pizzahut tries to pass of as pizza.
Good Luck

Contact Jim Darnell in Knoxville as he was the owner of the Conoco across from the track.

Yeah I already inquired about Darnell's station and even Cox's furniture building to the east of the station. The station has a little red tape to cut through and the furniture building instead of having the beautiful wide open banquet room in the top is now an apartment So the search continues but I really appreciate the tips. My next move is to contact the track itself Id love to serve the racetrack for sure.

I have vacated my old booth/space about 20 yards from the main gate but I am not so sure Pizza Hut would like some 'real' competition, you'd murder 'em. Take It Easy.....
