I don't think a regular off the shelf camera available to civilians can capture that awesome Ford power on film. You a special camera from NASA or something.

I had a Mustang with a 289 V-8 about 50 years ago, it could beat the hell out of those Chevy II inline 6 cylinder cars. When will mindless give it up. As far as who makes it, think it's been clarified on here many times: Roush-Yates, and they ain't too happy that FoMoCo didn't give them any help building it.

Off the assembly line in Detroit. It has no resemblence to a Ford, closer to a Mopar or Chevy Detroit motor in design. Same thing Taayooto did.

I guarantee the Roush-Yates Ford that Blaney is using is different in many critical design features. Saying "It has no resemblence to a Ford, closer to a Mopar or Chevy Detroit motor in design" is just plain goofy and most importantly wrong.

I applaud Blaney for going against the grain in the motor department. It is good for the sport to have Ford in the mix. Far too many sheep think you have to use whatever the next guy to you is using in order to compete and that's not often true.

Cheers!

IBRACN shared one on Facebook. Thanks! The engine would be even less like a chev or mopar and even more like a traditional Ford if the WoO would allow it. Its amazing to me that people get offended because I want more than one engine and possible performance advancement in the top professional venue of our sport.

There have been exactly 0 properly funded 410 Fords in the country for the last 14 years. I doubt if I or anyone can make the sprint car crowd hate them anymore than it already does. LOL

What kind of car are they running? Looked at the pic on the WoO facebook and it doesn't seem to have any front torsion bars.
