Just wanted to pass along a huge thank you to the racing community that was in attendance last night at Silver Dollar Speedway. We collected money for the Smith family after RC took a terrible tumble in turn one during hot laps. It took about 20 minutes for him to get out of the car. I just got off the phone with Kathy Smith, RC's mom and she was so humbled by the support. We raised over 400 dollars.
RC was released last night 11 pm. He had a concussion, sore neck, back and bruises on his body but no broken bones. After Monday they will decide if the can put the car back together and if RC feels good enough to race.
His brother Cody will race tonight in Placerville.
Thanks again.....our fans continue to amaze me....
