Thanks & right back atcha from a total stranger. I'm in a good mood, just spent New Years Eve dancing my ass off with a bunch of terrific women in Lafayette, Louisiana. As they say down here, "A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet"

Don't think so Stan. People get worked up & do stupid things all the time. Guns just amplify the range of stupidity. Look at the silly arguments on this board. Most common murder? husband/wife

Heres a couple of examples of people who carry and are suppose to be the prime example of good gun handling, Cops.

http://blog.chron.com/newswatch/2012/07/gun-accident-hurts-officer-at-police-academy/
Don't get me wrong, I own around 8 guns myself but I have them for hunting and don't carry them for self defense. I know how to handle guns safely and have my whole life but I can honestly say I wouldn't feel safe around 95% of the public having a gun, especially if they are concealing it. Take a bar for example, would you feel safer going out to a bar for the night knowing that everyone in there had a gun on them, I certainly wouldn't cause I've been in bars and seen the stupidity that people get in fist fights over, that's just what I would want is for that drunk idiot to have a gun to pull and then knowing everyone else has 1 too and is going to pull it out in defense, talk about shots flying everywhere. The articles I linked are just examples of even people who have alot of gun training have stupid accidents happen, so if everyone in society had a gun think about just the rise in unviolent gun accidents that would occur.
