FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series

Amsoil USAC/CRA Race Director Named!

(December 27, 2012) – While race fans patiently wait for the offseason to come to close, USAC Officials are busy making plans for the new year, a year that will be full of excitement and spectacular racing encompassing 23 nights of traditional Sprint Car action that will campaign at six different tracks with the title chase kicking off March 1st at the “Copper on Dirt” and the crowning of the USAC/CRA champion at the series finale “Oval Nationals” in November at Perris Auto Speedway.

Embarking on its 10th year of existence the USAC/CRA series has been a hub for traditional 410 sprint car racing in the West. While the roots of the CRA will stay well planted, some new faces will be added to the dynamic of the USAC Western Region. Chris Kearns, Western Region Director, will take charge of USAC operations in the west while Kevin Montgomery will head up race director operations for the USAC/CRA series.

Montgomery, who also operates the USAC Southwest Sprint Car Series, will be at the fore front when the stars of the Amsoil USAC/CRA series take to the track in March.

“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the CRA series,” commented Montgomery. “There is a lot of prestige that comes with USAC/CRA and I look forward to being a part of it and having the chance to work with some of the great drivers and car owners that make this series what it is.”

The Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series would like to thank Hoosier Tire, Circle Track Performance, Competition Suspension Inc., DJ Safety, Diversified Machine Inc., Extreme Mufflers, Hilborn Fuel Injection, Integra Racing Shocks, Keizer Wheels, LRB Inc. Race Products, Ringers Gloves, Rod End Supply, SBI Fuel Systems, Saldana Racing Products, and Sander Engineering for their support.

Doe's this mean that Kevin won't be driving the water truck at Canyon anymore?
