WOLFE/KAYLOR COMBO HEADED TO OHIO
By Brad Vores for Rick Kaylor Motorsports
July 4, 2007
HARRISBURG, PA Lucas Wolfe and the Rick Kaylor Motorsports team are set to take their show on the road next week. The new 360 sprint car combination will head west to Ohios Eldora Speedway on Tuesday, July 10th for the Old Spice Summer Sizzler featuring the NRA Sprint Invaders. The following night, the team will drop a 410ci motor under the hood of the Ricks Auto Body #13K JEI Chassis and compete in the Brad Doty Classic at Ohios Limaland Motorsports Park. The team will then head back to Eldora Speedway for the Friday night, July 13 NRA Sprint Invaders Night Before the Kings Royal event and then again Saturday night in the NRA Sprint Invaders portion of the Kings Royal Night. Wolfe will also be competing in the Friday and Saturday Kings Royal 410 Sprint car events in the Jim and Laura Allebach #5W sprinter as well. Wolfe has won three races this season in the Kaylor Motorsports sprinter. He won two times at Susquehanna Speedway in ASCS Mid Atlantic action and most recently destroyed a star-studded field to win the URC 360/358 Sprint Challenge on Kasey Kahne Foundation Night at Williams Grove Speedway. Kaylor, who fields the car for Wolfe to race on a part-time basis, owns and operates Ricks Auto Body located at 1114 N. Cameron Street in Harrisburg, PA.

Sounds great! I enjoy watching him race. I'm glad he and Lynch have a set of cahoonas and are willing to make the trip from PA to run at the Big E.

Lucas has quite a track record in the 13k. 4 starts 3 wins. I wish I could see him wheel that car around Eldora. Good Luck in all the cars next week.

Tuesday will definitely be a race to see. With Brecht, Allison and the rest of the NRA boys along with Dave and Dale Blaney, Kahne, Stewart, Wolfe, and what sounds like at least 3 WoO drivers competing, it will be one of the toughest 360 fields anywhere in the country this year. Can't wait!

What happened to Lucas last week? He was supposed to come over here and run Ohio Speedweek. Would have been nice to see him over here with the All Stars.

With the USAC shows around here, then wadding a car in the Outlaw show, then to get ready for PA Speedweek, and the Kings Royal, there just wasn't enough time. All the crew guys work full time jobs and it is hard to get away so much. He really wanted to though. Plust the Wednesday Kasey Kahne race was an overlap. I hope he can keep this point lead in the Speedweek and take that to Eldora. He is having a great year so far with a lot of traveling when available.

Great news!! The Buckeye State welcomes Lucas and the teams with open arms. Hope they have some success and run good. It would be great to see the Posse fans get up on their feet at the Royal again. I know that they still come over, but they have not had much as far as one their boys to cheer for in awhile.
