Just wondering if anyone else is on here from the New England series? If so what are you looking forward to this season? Im looking forward to the triple crown and Octoberfast races. Im excited to see what the car count will be.

Former Scone driver here. I last raced there in 2010, and from what I've heard and read there has been a lot of growth in that time. I hope to see that continue and I hope the tracks are improving along with the series to provide better racing for the fans and drivers alike.

Of the tracks you run, which is closest to Boston? I get to BOS once per month year round and like to go to Lee or Thompson, but, it'd be ood to see some dirt track stuff too.

I have a buddy in New Hampshire I visit every summer who's a gearhead but has MS & doesn't get out of the house much. I dragged him to a race in Canaan 2 summers ago, interesting, real dusty black track, leader (Chris Donelly?) was lapping everyone so I was watching other battles. On the last turn #90 comes roaring out of this black cloud to take the win. I missed it. Watching sprint races is an art in itself, with action all over, isn't it?
I spend a big chunk of every summer in Ct.(NO sprint races )& even tho Pa. is a slightly longer drive, its worth the effort. Beautiful drive either way, tho

None of the tracks are overly far from Boston, but being New England with windy roads, none of them are the easiest to get to..
I've been to all 3 of the tracks they run on although it was years ago now, since I have moved to Indiana. Of the 3 I liked Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford Vermont the best.

Canaan fair speedway or legion speedway is your closest track to boston area. This past season we had no repeat winner for seven races i believe. We had a few b mains as well. The count is growing, i think its great for all the micro guys to have a place to land bigger if they want as well.

Thanks EJTownes. I'll try to get out to Canaan next summer. Looking forward to getting out for some ice racing over the winter too
