Hello everyone! It's that time of year again! I love Chili Bowl season! ; ) Here's the info on the tournament:
What: Bean bag tournament. Double elimination
When: Thursday, Jan. 13th
What time: Everyone must be signed up by 10:30am and ready to play immediately following.
...Who: Everyone is welcome, however there are only 32 spots and they usually fill up immediately.
Where: At the top of the ramp that goes down to the front stretch at the ExpoCenter. You should bring your ticket for the night. Last year we needed them to get in.
How much: $10 entry fee~we also donate money to charity (last year it's been around $200 to a charity of the groups choice)
There will be trophies awarded to the winners and the first losers out. We will also have pay outs to the top 3 teams for extra spending money for your week. PLUS, we will have door prizes where everyone will take home at least one item thanks to Racin Stacie and Esther.
Also, I only have one set of boards right now. Is anyone playing that can bring a set or two?

All the past hype about being the indoor bean bag champ,and he is backing out.....Slacker....

We were going to be there & then Gail took a fall in the house while decorating & after a night on the couch in pain we loaded up & went on to spend the next day & nite over 8hrs in TWO different ER's. She finally got admitted into Toledo MCO & then they made her wait for 2 days . She finally went in for over 2hr. surgery to put yet another rod in her right leg. I saw the pics & it was a pretty bad break. She'll be getting around by the Royal.....that's how long this one is going to take. AQ, you mite want to get the dust cover off of the 'ol throwing arm & take my place on the team???

Youch Stubb that is not good news at all. I think you better look into getting some "Soft floors" put in your house.And you should be doing all the decorating,that way if you fell,she could still come to the Chili Bowl!

I'm hoping for a speedier recovery.Illinois or Indiana Midget week would be better than the Royal,as you 2 would blend right in,and then you could say you actually crossed State lines to watch a race in the summer too.

Filling your shoes at the tournament is a pretty big thing on such short notice,pun intended.Its more than just throwing the bags. I'd have to take a couple classes on throwing bullshit 1&2 then advanced spreading bullshit 1&2,then being loud and obnoxious 1&2 ,then I'd have to take trigonometry 1&2 so I could make all the calculations on how to throw like you,due to the difference in height etc. I'm sure I am missing a couple more requirements just to fill your shoes,its just to early and I havent thought of them yet!

Thanx Morty.....She gets a kick outta hearing from all you guys on here. We're probably lookin at 5 mos. before she can get most of her strength back, even after they say she can start putting pressure on it. Another thing didn't help here at home is that I got sicker than fuck on Fri!! Our kids have been here helping for Christmas......Gail On the couch & me up in bed feeling like shit, sneezing & coughing all damn day & nite! Had a headache a while ago & couldn't sleep....So I tried my old racing remedy.....came downstairs, got on this thing & am about to finish my 2nd beer & it'll be off to sleep land back in bed!! ( I Hope) BEER= Stubb's Prescription!!!!! MEERY CHRISTMAS TO YOU GUYS!!!!
