I read the info on sprintcarworld.com, pretty much all articles, all sprint series/races, obvously I'm retired, an old fart with plenty of time on his hands and for 2nd time in Sprint Car & Midget magazine saw the ad for Oval Express magazine, covering all open-wheel racing down under, both Aussieland and N.Z I suppose. The covers of the 3 magazines in the ad show only winged sprint cars so they must cover them especially well, but $90 for 12 issues. I know air mail makes it expensive, but $90? Any recomendations mates.
XXX? I thought Triple X was a wrestler

That breaks down to $7.50 an issue. I've read several copies from friends and it's more than worth it.

One of the best magazines in the industry. Excellent photos, articles and coverage of everything down under. Phil and Michelle do an excellent job and if you are interested in the goings on down there it is an excellent investment.
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

im young and still making money i too thought it was a bit pricey for my blood, I really wanted to get a subscription, with sprint n midget, and flattout, I thought it would complete my monthly-bimonthly reading circle Im a little hesitant to purchase, but a half that price I proubly would, after discussing with my freindly Aussie nieghbor during the nationals, a (?? 500ml? pop liters there correct?) was well over $2 American currency, no wonder they were having a ball in the U.S! , beer is practically free! I never did ask what a rockmellon was worth? !!

its not worth it, its cheaper for us guys in Australia to get a 2 year subscription to Sprintcar and Midget than it is to get 12 month oval express even with international postage, and most of it is 'filler' material anyways

Make your own decision. About 2 beers a month if your old enough to 6 bottles of pop or 2 half gallons of milk. You have to decide if it is worth it. Maybe Santa can bring it to you.

How about two bottles of Dorothy Lynch Salad Dressing per month?? All kidding aside, Oval Express is a very good monthly publication especially if you're interested in Aussie drivers who've raced in the USA and if you want to follow the many USA drivers racing in AU and NZ. OE has great photos, feature stories, and columns. It's printed on beautiful, thick, full color, glossy paper.
