Raceway 7 and Eriez Speedway Are First Tracks to Usher In New Era for FASTRAK Northeast in 2013

December, 12th 2012 FASTRAK PR **FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE**

(Four Oaks, North Carolina) – There’s a NEW Era about to take place for the Northeast and for the FASTRAK Racing Series the “Nations First and Premier Pro Late Model Series in the Country” going into 2013, the momentum is FULL SPEED AHEAD!! There has been a lot of questions, tension and uncertainty on where FASTRAK would stand in the Northeast in the future by many skeptics, but after meetings with Track Promoters, Engines Builders and Sponsors in Mercer, Pennsylvania the verdict is in: FASTRAK isn’t going anywhere!! There was a huge turnout of people involved with different aspects pertaining to FASTRAK and everyone was very receptive in standing behind the “vision” of Crate Late Model Racing remaining under the FASTRAK banner in 2013 and beyond. FASTRAK Representative’s Stan Lester and Brian Haynes we’re welcomed in with “open arms” by all in the meeting Wednesday night. At the conclusion of the important gathering on the future of FASTRAK Northeast, all we’re standing side by side united with more certainty and optimism launching into 2013.

I am pleased to announce that after the successful completion of night #1 meetings we are happy to inform everyone that Eriez Speedway and Raceway 7 are the first two race tracks of many more to stay on board with FASTRAK Racing Series in the Northeast Region and usher in a new era for “crate late model racing” in Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Eriez Speedway was built in the early 60’s, and has seen many changes over the years. Bob and Kathy Rohrer bought Eriez Speedway in the spring of 2006. Because of the neglected state of the track at the time of purchase, many long nights, and thousands of dollars were spent getting it back to the present condition. Bob has raced, for over 20 years, and understands the driver’s needs, and with this in mind, has tried to make everything driver friendly thus keeping the FASTRAK Sanctioning banner on Sunday nights for (crate) Pro Late Models in 2013.

Dan McDonald is also excited to have Raceway 7 in Conneaut, Ohio to be back with the FASTRAK Racing Series for (crate) Pro Late Model races on Friday nights in 2013. Raceway 7 is a 7/16 Mile semi-banked clay oval. The track is worked on a weekly basis and provides 3 to 4 wide racing guaranteed. Raceway 7 is located six miles south of Interstate 90, on Ohio Route 7, just south of Monroe Center (and Bushnell), Ohio.

“We pretty much decided before coming up here to these important Northeast meetings that we’re going to continue to do what FASTRAK has done in the Northeast and other regions across the country to be successful.” Stan Lester also exclaimed the following “The first question was going to be to the audience panel was “Do you still want to have FASTRAK here??” “Well it’s safe to say that question has been answered to us repeatedly by the emails, phone calls, texts, conferences and face to faces with people encouraging us to stay on board in this region and after Night #1 of the Northeast meetings we now see how much we’re wanted up in these parts still even after 6 years”. Thank you to everyone we are truly blessed with everything that’s happening for the FASTRAK Companies International family. Family is a “big” word but that’s the “honest” truth with everyone involved in FASTRAK in some shape or fashion. Thanks to the entire FASTRAK family!!
